Advantages:
Solid, square 8 mm grill-bars with 6 mm gaps, covering 60% of
the surface above the charcoal. This reduces the suction power,
and the carbon steel grids store and radiate even heat.
The brick-layered fireplace also stores the heat, supporting
an economical operation.
The operation can also be done with the so called „Balkan ash
technique”, when a part of the glowing charcoal is moderated
with clean ash.
